Carbineer Archive

Hey guys. I'm sorry for the dumb question, but I seem to be having trouble finding good spots to grind my Carbineer experience. Right now I have Novice Carbineer is all. I'm looking for a place I can solo effectively for long periods of time and rack up the Carbineer exp.

Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

hmmm.. any place to kill stuff? Go to Lok or somewhere that groups are always forming. You always get great xp in a big group.

If you want to be solo and just grind, the crystal swamps on Corellia can be nice. Find a Swamp Humbaba lair. You can single pull them, and then just Action shot pin/bleed them to death. If you only use AS1 & 2, you can do regular shots in between, and your HAM shouldn't be too bad. They are non agro, so you only have to make sure to pull them back away from others before you AS2. Decent XP, at least for me solo'n it was.

Go to Fort Tusken with a reasonable group. I've routinely gotten 100000 XP in an evening out there. Sometimes 200000...

I may be wrong, but experience has shown me that the best XP bang for the amount of time spent getting it really is at Fort Tusken, if you don't die (or if you do die, but have a res-er).

I've tried several other planets (hard ones, easy ones), small groups, big groups, etc.

If I really want XP fairly quickly (and who doesn't), I always go back the The Fort.

It's that green mass on the map between Kor Vella and Doaba Guerfel on Corellia. It's best approached from DG, since if you come at it from the KV side, you have to skirt around the battleground that borders the swamps to the northwest.

This is where I ground out to Novice (with a little help from a friend). Swamp humbabas are definitely good xp for the risk, and if you can find small (note: SMALL they're social and aggressive) groups of savage humbabas, give them a try, too.
