Thread: charge shot 1 issues

ok so i just got charge shot 1 finnaly a knock down shot ya so i go and use it and low and behold i knock down a critter and then 1 sec latter it gets up before i can even get another shot off ok so what is the point of this shot cuz everything i shoot gets back up really fast before i even get to shoot again and im not using a slow carbine either and its useless for damage so why did i try so hard to get this shot am i doing something wrong or what any ideas on where or what i would use this shot for ?

also any tips on shot selection i have cripple shot and wild shot,also charge shot i never got burst shot cuz i found it a lil useless since im a master medic and ham isnt a problem any idea what kind of combo is best ?

I HATE ChargeShot. It is flamingly gay. It lasts about half a second andyou run 10m forward everytime you do it. It is so god **edit** stupid. I went back to use ActionSpam because it pissed me off.

i too, find that charge shot is absolutely retarded. you only run 5-10m forward (and everything in between), but that's beside the point. you have to be standing. kneeling for accuracy? nope. prone? nope. standing, and you (well, at least i do) lose out on a shot during the time you run forward, because the chargeshot attack happens at the END of the forward movement.


best combo, IMO (which i personally hold in a VERY high regard, no matter what anyone else says) is chargeshot + cripple-shot. i can sometimes get them tagged while on the ground, and that extra 50% damage is absolutely devastating to them.

NOoooooo.... Please say it isn't so. I've been waiting for an f'in knockdown forever and now I see that it's stupid. Why must they torment me so.

Actually, in a group charge shot can be very handy. You can knock something on its butt while the melee types engage, saving them from a first-round whomping. And your next shot (and the melee types) often comes quickly enough to get the damage surcharge.


I agree it could be a lot better (like having them on the ground for longer than a bounce), and the animation is stupid beyond reckoning. But it's not actually worthless... quite the contrary.

ok ty for the help so i get a 50% increase in damage if there on the ground wow i thought that only applied to melee but cool enough and sorry about grammer typing and spelling i was very tired and im not trying to get a+ on this test infact i hated english in high school im personaly a math geek
