Just a little note: tonight while running Imp missions on Dantooine I was rewarded with a Black Polished DH17. Speed around 4.0, damage between 20-200 with low HAM. Although this gun would have to hit a 40% speed slice before I even thought about using it I was very glad to receive a unique carbine from loot.

Has anyone else found these, or other rare carbines? I am willing to pay cash for any carbine that is rare or unique in the game, even if they are mostly unseable in a real fight. I think a collection of carbines might give me another in game hobby...

I have a DH17 in the bank I looted off something a couple weeks ago, dont remember what. However when I was looking thru my bank last night, I noticed that the DH17 has a poison based DoT attack with like 400 charges. Granted I think the poison was only like 26dmg and had a duration of 55sec and the max dmg on the gun itself was only like 80, it was still an interesting find.

i havent got a carbine as such. I looted rifles with Poison DOT damage before. Althought the damage seems nice, a krayt DH17 can easily beat it even with a low 30 max dmg tissue. Mines is something like 108 to 220 dmg at 2.5 after a modest dmg slice. 108 to 308 or so after power ups.

I probably should have this moved to the Tempest forum...

I am interested in the poison dot carbine. It doesnt matter if the poison is weak or not. I have great carbines for use, the carbines Im looking for will go on my wall...
