Thread: You guys are getting shafted yet again
I'd still like to know just who the heck asked the devs to nerf nonCH pets down to CL10 and limit faction pets to ONE. I am guessing it was the CHs seeing anybody have any fun with pets except for themselves.
Funniest thing is they managed to get themselves made even *more* powerful at the same time.
The devs are truly clueless. Carbineer getting more screwed as time passes isn't exactly a surprise after recent events.
I can see that at the lower levels - but a nonCH pet is what keeps me alive in CL25 missions granted to me from terminals solo... That's why I think this nerf stinks. I have doubts as to my ability to earn an income once it goes through. Am currently testing to see how I fare on these missions without a pet...
These mobs are white and blue. I can't do creature missions without the pet as they are all baf, and am barely able to do humanoid missions. I really hope I counterattack like a madman once I lose my pet... I think the CA change shoudl happen before the pet nerf so maybe there's some hope. Slim but better than none I guess.
I don't harass reds at master level with a mountain krevol for a tank, I run like a headless chicken =(
if professions were working I have no doubt you can kill the missions given by terminals (except maybe bolmas)
can you just use a probot or 5 - with 40% resistance and medium armor that - what? 15% damage going through err how does 1 calculate those figures - it can take uhm 4400 damage? before going down? that's not too bad
Besides you can always team with a buddy TKA and go kill

im glad FWG5s are getting nerfed. if they cant fix us, nerfing everyone else is the next best thing ![]()
seriously tho those FWG5s were out of control! i mean comeon, 100-450dmg 1 speed? our laser carbines dont even get to 450dmg and our dh17 snubs dont get to 1 speed, FWG5s are like fully automatic barret .50 sniper rifles sheesh
The problem with the fwg5 is that it was making the pistoleers to powerful over the carbineers and riflemen. So the Devs had two choices either nerf fwg5 or make carbineers and riflmen more powerful and inturn tweak heavy weapons to stay in line. It has to do with balance, pistoleers were out of balance because they were able to get weapons that they could fire specials for every second and their weapons max dam was near or in the 400s.

LOL, they couldnt take that reality. The reality that they may have to almost fix us, they panicked and nerfed the FWG5. That was a clost one, I hope that one never comes up again.
YES!!!! NERF PISTOLEER WEAPONS!!!! *smiles happily* I haven't heard anythign this awesome for a couple of weeks. I can't think of anything besides Creature Handling that needs a good nerfing like pistoleers. I'm very pleased about this.
