Thread: You guys are getting shafted yet again

Im not a carbineer, but i am a pistoleer. Word on the pistoleer fourm is one rifleman cried nerf about the FWG5 begin to powerful, and guess what the devs are doing... thats right nerfing more **edit**. When they havent fixed any of the proffesions that need it (Carbineers). The Devs have no **edit**en Idea what they are doing, and when someone cries nerf they take that into priority and nerf **edit** before fixing **edit**. It pisses me off that nothing that needs fixing does not take priorty over a nerfing.



I have waitied for 2 years for SOE to get it's act together and it hasn't.
They have forced me to destroy them, and I will.

I'd still like to know just who the heck asked the devs to nerf nonCH pets down to CL10 and limit faction pets to ONE. I am guessing it was the CHs seeing anybody have any fun with pets except for themselves.


Funniest thing is they managed to get themselves made even *more* powerful at the same time.


The devs are truly clueless. Carbineer getting more screwed as time passes isn't exactly a surprise after recent events.

the whole CH thing is more of a people who shouldnt be killing higher level mobs using non ch pets. thats also why they are gonna try and make the AI smarter on mob's and will come after you sometimes instead of concentrating on 1 thing at a time.

I can see that at the lower levels - but a nonCH pet is what keeps me alive in CL25 missions granted to me from terminals solo... That's why I think this nerf stinks. I have doubts as to my ability to earn an income once it goes through. Am currently testing to see how I fare on these missions without a pet...


These mobs are white and blue. I can't do creature missions without the pet as they are all baf, and am barely able to do humanoid missions. I really hope I counterattack like a madman once I lose my pet... I think the CA change shoudl happen before the pet nerf so maybe there's some hope. Slim but better than none I guess.


I don't harass reds at master level with a mountain krevol for a tank, I run like a headless chicken =(

if professions were working I have no doubt you can kill the missions given by terminals (except maybe bolmas)



can you just use a probot or 5 - with 40% resistance and medium armor that - what? 15% damage going through err how does 1 calculate those figures - it can take uhm 4400 damage? before going down? that's not too bad


Besides you can always team with a buddy TKA and go kill

im glad FWG5s are getting nerfed. if they cant fix us, nerfing everyone else is the next best thing



seriously tho those FWG5s were out of control! i mean comeon, 100-450dmg 1 speed? our laser carbines dont even get to 450dmg and our dh17 snubs dont get to 1 speed, FWG5s are like fully automatic barret .50 sniper rifles sheesh

The problem with the fwg5 is that it was making the pistoleers to powerful over the carbineers and riflemen. So the Devs had two choices either nerf fwg5 or make carbineers and riflmen more powerful and inturn tweak heavy weapons to stay in line. It has to do with balance, pistoleers were out of balance because they were able to get weapons that they could fire specials for every second and their weapons max dam was near or in the 400s.

LOL, they couldnt take that reality. The reality that they may have to almost fix us, they panicked and nerfed the FWG5. That was a clost one, I hope that one never comes up again.

The point is, The Devs are getting **edit**tier and **edit**tier everyday. They wouldnt be nerfing the FWG5 if they would fix you guys up. Ive seen carbineers literally kill them selves trying to kill someone else. I dont know what the hell is wrong with Rifleman besides it having terriable range. Even though a fwg5 with 100-450 dmg and 1 speed is only been made with enhancments and power ups that do wear out so I'm told. DX2s are **edit**ty not as **edit**ty as some i've seen but its pretty bad.so our best gun is the FWG5. Point Im trying to make is, The Devs are to **edit** lazy and **edit**ty to see what is broken and fix what is broken, so instead they worry about stuff that isnt broken and nerf it, then they nerf something and that pisses off people so they unerfed it, maybe instead of crying nerf we should cry fix. Would you rather have you proffesion work 100% or have it not work, and have others get nerfed and still have their specials do what they do, not as much though? Nerfing our gun isnt going to help **edit**, since gund that are 100-400 dmg 1 speed will be around still since what the devs are doing is nerfing it so you cant add krayt stuff or something. But nerfing isnt going to solve **edit**. You should bitch at the rifleman (or men) for crying nerf, and tell them Its not going to help us by them nerfing them, our specials dont work, maybe we should cry fix and try to get the lazy devs up and fix stuff not nerf it. By fixing things you dont Nerf things, and the game will be balanced then. I hope they fix you guys soon, pisses me off that the devs dont understand what type of pain your in.

YES!!!! NERF PISTOLEER WEAPONS!!!! *smiles happily* I haven't heard anythign this awesome for a couple of weeks. I can't think of anything besides Creature Handling that needs a good nerfing like pistoleers. I'm very pleased about this.
