Carbineer Archive

I rarely ever see anyone use one and even rarer seeing one for sale. It almost seems like a slightly less powerful version of the Elite (which makes sense being in a lower tree). It almost seems to be a redundant weapon for carbineers. I saw on another post that it only needs 1 Krayt tissue which i'm curious to know if you could get a better Krayt E11 than a Krayt DH17.

If it is indeed an unused carbine, then what would you do to it to make it useful? I'd like to see it's damage type changed to either cold or stun. Carbineers only have 3 damage types to choose from. While Pistoleers and Riflemen get5 damage types to choose from. Maybe have the E11 do stun damage and the Elite do cold damage.

I have two Krayt E-11's (thank-you Master Weaponsmiths Jad and Tenki) that I mostly use when I'm on duty as a Stormtrooper, E-11's being the standard Stormtrooper issue weapon.

They're actually pretty good though, somewhere between the DH17 and Elite:
* Energy/AP1
* higher min damage but lower max than the DH17
* lower min damage but similar max damage to Elite
* as fast or faster than DH17
* higher HAM costs than DH17 but lower than Elite

Sorry I can't give exact specs as I'm not in-game.
