I love the carbine, and if I didn't actually enjoy the PvE bounty missions and love the PvP Jedi bounties I'd be a carbineer. So... I want to drop my last few skill points into carbineer for either crippling shot or burst shot 2 + counterattack mods.

Crippling shot is a 7x mod, right? What's burst shot 2's mod?

Cripplingshot is 7.5, burstshot2 is exactly the same as burstshot1... welcome to our broken specials

FYI Cripple is also a 4x speed special. Burst is much less, but I don't know what exactly.

Aria ur positive about burstshot 2? I heard that it works much better with a higher HAM cost...

absolutely positive, my toolbars bugged so it makes me replace burstshot1 every time i log on, and i replace it with Burst2 90% of the time... tried it today, was exactly the same with a higher HAM cost

Cripplingshot is a much better choice for a BH because of their better Carbine speed mods. they shoot it WAY faster than we do

Thanks for the info. A real shame about burst shot 2. You guys need some love, as do the pistoleers (my armorsmith is a pistoleer, you almost have to dabble in smuggler or BH to be effective).

Crippleshot is far superior to burstshot2. Burstshot2 has been the same as burstshot1 except for higher HAM cost since the day the game was released. Read the sticky posts.

This burstshot2 myth was started by a BH/carbineer who clearly did not have access to all carbineer specials or do careful testing. He stated it on the BH forum and then the BHs spread this myth as fact. Then the BHs come here and find out burstshot2 is nothing more than burstshot1.
