Thread: What weapons are you using?
Started hunting on Dantooine last night and got killed everytime.
I,m a marksman in training 0 - 3 - 3 - 2 . Would like to know what weapon to use and what actions work best and if you think I can do those missions with the training I have or should I do lower number missions until I move up? Thanks
Dantooine is beyond both you and I alone right now. Try Rori. Go to Restuss, turn left when you walk out of the starport. Keep walking left around the starport building. Can't miss the imperial recruiter + mission terms.
I would say try the imperial fort at Bestine, but that can suffer from the less thanoccasional rebel incursion.
OK. Im a novice carbineer. I've got a DXR6, DH17 and EE3 for different circumstances.
I'm also near master medic with an inventory of stims. I can do around level 16 missions if I'm lucky. I expect the changes to faction pets meaning I can only take 1 stormie means that isnt true any longer.
I've been to dantooine with a mid way MBH and Commando/MCH.
Until they pulled out their faction pets (AT-ST's which are now slighlty nerfed) we got owned. Dantooine is full of nasty rebels and even nastier critters!
Try getting a DH17 carbine thats got a good speed, something < 3. It's worth it for the lower ham costs so you can keep using special's.

Well, we've identified the problem. ![]()
Dantooine is probably the toughest planet there is. The monsters and NPC's there are nasty. With the skills you have now, Dantooine is just going to be too much for you, plain and simple. In fact, Dantooine is too much for plenty of people that have mastered elite professions if they try to handle too much alone.
If you want to hunt on Dantooine, find a group to hunt with. For now, I'd recommend sticking to some of the easier planets, like Rori, for example, to get some needed XP until you're ready to try somethinga little more challenging.
