Carbineer Archive

I just got novice carbineer on Infinity (the new server) and i dont know which way to go up first. Obviously the combat xp line, but also should i go for crippling shot? Or one of the other lines. Thanks guys.

Get The first line for speed, you'll get the bonus that ScatterShot (2) does good damage and is good for group hunting and solo if used correctly. You'll also want to get BurstShot2, as it does the same damage as AutoFire1 but cost less HAM. Some people don't understand ScatterShot so don't see the benefit, but is does a good 30-50% more dmg per shot in my experience as a Master Carbineer.

Personally, I go for marksmanship as my first tree. Like most people say, whats the use of shooting and burning HAM if you just miss? Also, crippling shot is very effective, especially with the right weapon. If you have a Krayt laser carbine, you can hit a person for 500 in PvP, let alone PvE.

This is a new server, only a few krayts were killed pre-patch, itll be awhile before more are killed. So far no definite answer. I come as being a pistoleer able to hit for 1.5k in PvP to this new server and its kinda fun.
