Thread: Can someone explain the damage mitigation stuff?

Ranged Mitigation (we as carbineers have this) reduces the damage done to you by a Ranged attack.


Example: You are doing PvP with no armor(ya, right) and someone shoots at you with a weapon that has a min/max range of say 100-200. Calculation: 200-100=100. The weapon has a damage range of 100. With RM1 the damage range would be reduced by 20% to 80. So the range would be 100-180 not 100-200.
