i bought a pretty good krayt one for 150k. Its 1.5spd, 125-340dam with powerup and sliced. I take down Kamurath Defilers pretty fast and im only a 1313 carbine.

There are many posts about this carbine. Try searching. Many people love it for its fast fire rate, decent damage and low HAM costs. It is useful in PvP vs unarmored players but useless if they are wearing armor. At the same time, it is useful in PvE only when the target doesn't have armor or heavy energy resist. I personally carry a damage-sliced one at all times and that is the gun I use to take downlairs.Lairs do not have armor so this gun is ideal for breaking lairs. I use other carbines for the creatures.
Note: pretty much no mob below level 45 is going to have armor anymore.

thank you nova, i have a sliced DH17, snubnose, and two super sliced lasers, so i need to start using that DH 17

I love my snubnose DH17, half the ham cost of the other carbines, 2.3 speed with 113-217 damage. I use this all the time unless the target is armored or at long range.

I use mine to spawn burst2 and charge, works really well at not destroying my ham.. unlike friggin laser carbine..

125-340 vs damage mitigation 3
340-125 = 215
215 * .6 = 129
340-129 = 211
(125+211)/2 = 168 avg damage
Not too bad, but no armor piercing is a problem and the speed advantage is nullified early on once you go up the first carbine tree.
My DXR6 is 167-274 with a stock sliced for damage is 27%.
274-167 = 107*.6 = 274-64.2 = (210+167)/2 = 188
Since the DXR6 has AR1 it has that going for it, against an AR1 target the DH17 damage falls fast.
Also the DXR6 is about 1/5 the cost, around 30-35K.
But just like novamarine I have a krayt DH17 that I use against lairs, if for no other reason that it does decent damage and does not burn my powerups on my other weapons.
I do not use a powerup on my DH17 though, would wear it out too fast. The DXR6 on the other hand I power it make it smoke.

Get yourself a crate of tatooine sunburn. It is food so there is no downtime and it adds 1500 to quickness and strength. With it you will never even see your HAM bars move. Works so well for me I actually use stocked carbines with 28 more HAM cost to each stat.
Also I rebalanced my stats to focus on regen rather than the size of my pools. I am ranged and use pets (MCH) or group so keeping up the barrage of damage is what I focus on. Besides 850 or 900 health it does not really matter when you get nailed for 2400.
