why is this the only KD move in the game that doesn't have the dely, i'm getting sick of everyone exploiting this...

Indeed. This has been brought up a number of times and the carbineer correspodent even brought it to the attention of the devs. Their response was that charge shot is working just as it should. Seems odd, but there's nothing to fix here. If you want something changed, that's fine, but if everything is working as intended, how can you "fix" anything?

haha that's a joke, why not let every other profession with KD's spam it, haha u can solo anythign with it

Make a bold post on the SWG discussion board about it...explain in detail how to do it. The Dev's will be forced to deal with it then, as all the power gamers exploit the hell out of it.


Keeping quiet about it for the greater good does not seem to be working.

Sorry but, Carabineer is a multi-target combat profession. therefore, a timer on something that hits or doesn't hit multiple targets would be foolish.


That said, the bugs in the profession and the high HAM costs for the specials is the reasons the DEVs gave us this bone.

Keep it!!


Only when the Carbineer attacks have been fixed (e.g. LegShot3), and the Carbineer class overall has been improved and addressed.... THAT is the only time to remove and fix this.


For now, this is the only thing we got.

I still get shot when they fall down, they only don't shoot back that first time it seems, (30 sec until next) however it does make them stumble. They stand back up as soon as they stumble. I had low blow from smuggler and it kept them down for much longer.



I beleive this move works as it is susposed to. Stop your whining and see that they still attack when they apear to be down for that .25 of a second.



What will someone cry about next? Just remove everything and there will be nothing to cry about :LOL:

The problem is with charge shot 2... not 1.


And cripple is doing its intended damage to a random pool. Only attacks such as leg shot, body shot, or head shot specificaly target certain pools.

Every time I use CS1, the target still fires at me while it's down. I don't know how anyone considers this a bonus.

if our class isnt broken enough some one wants to nerf it. have you seen our ham costs. if im not buffed id say 5-6 shots im dead.


go find something else to cry about.

Its a bonus vs anything melee (like some PCs and most creatures) since you can effectively pin it/them in place, and kill them with little or no risk.

I beleive it's chargeshot 2 that is broken, and I only use CS 1 after dizzying a target otherwise it's worthless.
