Thread: What's the fastest way to grind Carbineer?

I recently used a holo and it told me to master Carbineer. I was wondering if anyone wanted to share some tips and how to level Carbineer fairly fast. Right now, I can 1-shot feral banthas with Auto-shot 2 and get about 1.5k per kill. Is this good or are there other beasts out there that give better XP? Also, I am using a laser carbine and was wondering if I downgraded, would I get better XP? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i found the best way is to find a group and go to ft tusken.
use full auto area 1 or full auto area 2 on the tuskens while the group is fighting away and you rack up skill pts since you get Xp from each tusken i find this way to be the fastest IMO
make sure your buffed though since HAM costs are high

Get BurstShot1. It's the best overall shot carbiniers have IMHO, and I just finished mastering the profession. ChargeShot works great, but BurstShot is the damage dealer.
Then just get marksmanship and assault skills...you miss a lot until you get master marksmanship. Then you hit more often than you miss.
I recommend hunting Sharnaffs on Corellia or Kamuriths and Giant Baz Nitches on Dathomir.
As far as "downgrading," it all depends on the enemies resists and vulnerabilities. I carried around a good E11, DXR6, and Laser Carbine with me in case one damage type was better than the others. But I used the Laser Carbine most often.
Get foods and/or doctor buffs at all times. They are necessary to constantly use specials.
