In the upcoming patch they are fixing the carb HAM cost so that will help. The question is do u want to hunt the jedi or not? Ive debated with this also. When the droids are fixed and we can finally track jedi, there will be a bunch of BHs looking for help to kill jedi. I think medic would be a better choice for solo, but for group BH 3400 would be, just the fact that u can get jedi missions and have extra accuracy mods.

I will always hunt jedi in group so thats why I went with BH 3400, plus if they nerf carb and fix BH I can always make the transition easy because I will have enough for investigation 4 and LLC and pistol will be easily obtained.

Its just sooo much more rewarding to be able tofight jedi and actually to well. Even in PvP Im doing so much better than whenI was master BH. Its true that people go for MBH just for the title. Im still BH at heart and master of my field. Just like master rifleman/BH3400, master pistoleer/BH3400, and commando 0040/BH3004, they all are master BHs to me. Bounty hunters are just master of their chosen weapons and hunt tactics, nothing more. That is why I get sick of hearing all this dabbler crap from MBH. Use your skill points to suit own type of play.

Well, it's not about hunting Jedi for me. I will go 3/4/0/0 just because I have no where else to put the SPs. The real question is 0/4/0/0 or 0/3/0/0+novice medic.

Hunting Jedi I can live without. But if they introduce Player Bountys as a whole, and not just on Jedi... well that's a different story.

I am having trouble deciding...

Master Carb+BH 3/4/0/0, or Master Carb+ BH 0/3/0/0+Novice Medic.

Right now I'm Carbineer 2/3/4/3, Novice Medic, BH 0/3/0/0. I only have 10 skill points left, so I'm going to have to drop either novice medic or BH Carbs four. Havn't decided yet... :-\\ I want both! lol

And so far, I really love this template.

I'm master Carbineer, BH Carbine 4, Bh Pistol 3 and i love this template for PVP. Buffed, armored, spice readyand food ready (key mapped), you're pretty much unstopable unless a rifleman "ion-jawa head-shot" you before you incap him, a TKA kd/dizzy you, a flame dot get through you when you're low on healt, a CM poison your mind or you get zerged.

What i usually do..

Equip super-low-ham high damage (krayt + damage powerup), very fast DH17.

/chargeshot1

/confusionshot

/fireknockdown

That's 2 chances of KD and 2 chances of Dizzy fired in 3 seconds -> KD/DIZZY/KD/DIZZY

Then...

If no armor and/or not buffed (quick eye check), and healt/action is lower then Mind, switch to DXR6 crippleshots, if action get very low, couple of legshots. If healt is very low, couple of cripple or scatter shots. If mind is low, equip scatter pistol and eyeshot.

If buffed, eyeshot. If eyeshot doesn't seem to go through the helmet, switch to tangle pistol (stun), open mind bleed and then eyeshot. If it's still too slow, you have to ask him where he found his weaponsmith . But even without eyeshot, you can fire cripple so fast that you can usually go through the buff fairly fast.

If you're facing multiple enemies, repeat the macro up there once for each enemy and try to stay out of melee range. Quickly switch target after the 3 moves and take them all down instead of concentrating firepower on the same one. If you lucky they willl all be on their back then you can finish them 1 by 1.

There's a lot of things you can do actually, with all the specials you have that you apply to so many different situations...

Cons:

Very Spice/Food dependant

No medic skills

Melee = very week

Not that good for PVE except humanoid npcs

Pros:

Crowd control elements: Ranged KD/Dizzy andposture change moves
Pretty goodDPS
Ability to target and bleed Mind
Ability to target and bleed action
Ability to fire the highest damaging attack from carbineer at speedcap (i recommand burstshot if not buffed, the ham reduction cost versus criplle can save your life)

Ability to shoot 3 random mind pools at once (Scatter shot)
Very good in PVP

I don't know what the mind was doing there.

Hmm... taking up eyeshot... that's not a bad idea... but when trying to use eyeshot with your pistol, you're not near accurate enough to everytime (like you would with the carbine), your not as fast so the DPS goes way down, and if there are multiple people you can't just wait and spam eyeshot, they'll get you. You also don't have counter-attack in effect when using your pistol...

I don't know if I'd like it, but sounds like your kicking butt with it.
