Thread: master carbineer+ master doc or swordsman

i keep hearing about defense stacking being nerfed, but does anyone have a link to the devs talking about it? id like to see it.

As far as i know, TH mentioned that they might do something about defense stacking in the combat revamp, still 2 months (at least) away. No dev has ever stated that they will nerf defense stacking or when either.


I'd do the second one... i think when i used a skillbuilder to do almost the exact same template, i was able to do master carb/doc 0-2-4-0/swordsman 0-0-4-4, which gives you an extra +10 to counter and the 2 mind bleeds, which kick ass in PvP.

and yes, the defenses are definetly worth it, IMO. I was gonna go master doc/carbineer after i'm done with holos but already i've noticed that defense stacking works just as well as buffs do, and mind bleeds just kick ass

master carbineer plus master doc, or master carbineer plus doc 0240 and swordsman 0040?


at that level doc you could buff yourself, youd just have to find another doc to make the enhance packs for you, and you'd get melee damage mitigation 2 and a total of around 200 counterattack from the swordsman.


but would the added defenses be worth not going master doc?

Defense stacking is probably leaving or at least some likeyou mentionare getting hit with the NERF bat real soon.
