Oh god =(

I decided to re-activate my account after the cu for fun and now im confused as hell.

I use to be a TKM/Doc/Fencer when I logged in I was forced to respec, now im all about hunting jedi so I asked around and settled on

MBH/MC/Pistols 0003

Now as you can imagine this game is totally diffrent. I can no longer spam specials and it seems like after 4 shots im out of action

So I got a ton of "newbie questions"

1. Armor Scout or Padded

2. Specials What attacks should I use and in what order

3. Weapons weapons weapons

4. Tactics

Help help help

Wearing no armor right now jedi are killing me in 3 hits

BTW are there still stats to migrate?

Get some Neutron Pixie spice, some Vasarian Brandy, and other foods/drink as needed/wanted.

Get a carbine with low action cost. Mine is 86, which is the best I've heard of.

A good combo of attacks would be Underhand Shot, Critical Shot, Legshot, and If you can train up to Pistoleer 0403, then use Disarming Shot, Critical Shot, Legshot. Improvise the rest to taste of course! Oh yea, get your hands on some 1000+ Stim D's. They require no medical skills to use and heal you up for quite a bit, but you can only use them every 60 seconds or so.

I'm a MBH/MC/ as well. I do not have any pistoleer, however your two choices for armor are assault and battle. I personally wear battle armor. As for your three questions:

1. Armor Scout or Padded: Might want to try to pick up some of stuff your armorsmiths are making, you should have more options then just those, even though they are the ones that you can refit. If your converting a comp helmet, go with what you think looks cooler because it will get the same stats either way.

2. Specials What attacks should I use and in what order: Not really an order, but underhandshot to knock people down and advance critical. You also have a root and a snare that you should use to keep melee profession away from you.

3. Weapons weapons weapons: Pick up the expansion, talk to carl in the ryatt trail he's a human in wookie armor.GO down to the third level of the trail and kill the animals he wants you to kill. When you get the horn he wants talk to him again you get a proton carbine. Best BH/Carb weapon I have seen so far without costing you any money.

4. Tactics: I don't have many carbineer ones for you, however since your a BH when your hunting a jedi never shuttle to their city, they always have have someone watching for BH's.

And BTW stat migrates are gone, pick up some action and health foods, and some ruby bliel for healing.

should I set my auto attack to imp placed shot? Check out the STICKY post on Specials Test Data for damage multipliers and use the highest one that doesn't drain your Action, personally I use Aimed Shot for my default attack.....BTW, there is no auto attack, that is gone to reduce AFK play.

And what about

Imp dueliest stance? 20% Damage reduction, at least it was on TC but haven't tested on LIVE yet

Torso shot eye shot? I didn't find a use for either of these compared to Leg Shot, Critical Shot (BH), Crippling Shot, and Charge Shot

My combat toon is Master Bounty Hunter and Master Carbineer. With the Combat Upgrade I added 0044 Pistoleer.

My favorite armor to use personally is the Storm Trooper armor. It provides equal protection to about everything. Where the Shock Trooper Armor is kind of weak to Energy. A majority of the damage you see especially from jedi is in the form of Energy damage now.

My weapons of choice in PvP or hunting Jedi now are the Czerka Dart Carbine and the DXR6 Carbine. Sure the DXR6 is only like level 40, but the one I recently made myself is almost 300 DPS with a 65m range. The Czerka Dart Carbine is nice as many jedi are now using PSGs which provide no Kinetic protection typically. For raw damage of ultra nastiness you can always resort to a well made Elite Carbine. Or even an E11 MarkII Carbine. I've personally been getting better DPS out of the Elite with good tissue, but the E11 MarkII resource and component wise is more economical. 5 Tissue for the Elite where as the E11 MarkII only takes 4 and takes generic resources for the most part. Kammiris Iron tends to be the filler iron for weapons any way.
