This is mainly directed at MBH/MC, but please anyone chime in. I am really struggling with what to put in my toolbar since there are so many specials. Do you have separate toolbars for PvE, PvP and Jedi? What is in them?

My pvp/pve/jedi bar is all the same..
starting from 00 down the line to the second toolslot.
Crippling Fullautossingle2 Underhandshot Confusionshot Chargeshot2 Healself healother food drink bike in rest
Scattershot2 FireKD Burstshot 2 Intimidate FullautoArea2 Legshot2 legshot3 Actionshot1 actionshot2
Most of the specials you will use for PvE will be Charge2 Fullautoarea2 Burst2 then crippling.
For PvP me i still with fullauto single confusionshot underhand charge1 or 2 and crippling or scatter depending on their medical skills
Jedi.. hell fullautosingle1 confusionshot underhand then scatterblast due to the possible tripple pool hits for 5k+ if not that mix cripple and confusion.
The trick with jedi is to out think them..other than that they are not fun with no real melee defense or LS protection. Bomb droids are your best friend if you can get the timing right to d/kd and detonate at dam close the same time. Have one rounded jedi with that tactic (picture it as tyson hitting michael jackson with a full on right hook) =p

Switch your input mode to Modal Chat (in the Keymap window). This will change your game in two ways:
1. You'll have to press Enter (or /) to type messages and commands.
2. Any other key presses will trigger actions you specify.
It takes a while to get used to and can create amusing situations in heavy lag, but this will honestly make your game much easier. The idea is to create macros to trigger every special or ability you want to use, and then to bind specific keys to those macros using the Custom tab in your Keymap window. With this model, you can set up your input such:
Keystroke - Action (upper-case keystrokes mean SHIFT is held down while pressing the letter)
d - ChargeShot1
D - ChargeShot2
f - FullAutoSingle2
F - FullAutoArea2
v - BurstShot1
V - BurstShot2
c - CripplingShot
u - FormUp
e - Deathblow
h - HealDamage Self
H - HealDamage Other
... etc. With this method, I have 12 Carbineer, 5 Medic, 4 Squad Leader, and 10 generic abilities (Peace, /who, clear combat queue, armor equip, ...) mapped to keyboard input. Even more, all combat-oriented keys can be triggered by my left hand alone, leaving my right to control movement and targeting.
Not only does this allow you to use more than 24 specials on regular occasion, but it also frees your toolbar for things that can't be triggered by the command line. Now you can put all your weapons, food, droids, vehicles, and pets in the toolbar and manipulate them with your Function keys, rather than putting them on separate pages or (heaven forbid) having to open your Datapad or Inventory a thousand times a session.
Try it out.

Well in a given fight ill use 3 toolbars....And i have all my numberpad keys bound to actions. But im a cm carbineer so i need tons of skills at my quick access heh. Genraly though i have a pvp toolbar a pvm toolbar an equipment toolbar a macro toolbar and a collection of assorted skills toolbar....
Took me 2 years to finaly get them set up where i liked them and then they have to go and make the cu heh...but the second time was a lot faster :0)
