An elite or a proton carbine. Only post if you know
thanks and this is considering the elite to be made with nice tissues

I owned both with same temp. my proton was sliced 2% - 8% - 3%
My carbine is sliced 4% - 4% - 0
elite
2.208 spd
438-1040 dmg (1046 slice cap)
76 SAC
Cannot remeber stats on proton but I believe they are all the same.
I cannot remeber the stats on my proton, becuase I sold it... if you can get a good elite go there.

Don't quote me on this, but isn't the Elite a Master Carb only certification? Been so long since I checked the box, I've forgotten.
If it is, go with the Proton, it's fairly easy to get and can do fairly well against whatever you are hunting.

Ahh..yes, that's right. Either way you should do alright. I'd say put the tissues in the Elite and keep the Proton as a backup, as the elemental damage (if it ever works right) will be a nice bonus.
On that same train of thought, I have a decent Nym's (700 max with 171 elemental) that would be a nice weapon if they ever get the elemental damage working correctly.

Didn't they fix elemental damage?

I've heard they sort of fixed it; by sort of, it reports the elemental damage is showing up in combat spam, but it's not actually being applied.
But seeing as I don't use my elemental weaponry often, I'd have to test to actually make sure if it is truly fixed.
