I'm currently a 0-0-1-3 Carbineer. I'd like to know where I should level first and what shots I should be using. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

stick with burst shot 1 and charge shot 1. burst shot 2, scatter shot 2, and charge shot 2 are all broken. crippling shot is slow but nice with my speed mods 
. and dont use scatter shot unless the target has a tiny amount in 1 ham and trying to target it.

full auto area is kinda nice in places like fort tuskan when there are a group of them. just spam that and get xp of the whole group.

I know this is very likely a very common question, but in orderfor me to become initiate, I need to unlock 6 trees. Now, Can I unlock 2 from Combat Prow, 3 From Reflexes and 1 from Senses? Or can I only choose 2 (Combat, Sense)???
If this principle is possible, then I can become an initiate rather quickly, with a free unlock and everything properly planned.
Any help on this topic would be great, or perhaps you could direct me to the correct FAQ to find this info in, as I could not find it myself.

You can choose any column you want in any order you want, you just have to wait for those phases to come around [and do it one at a time except for your unlock]. Be carefull with the free unlock, in the beginning, many people chose the wrong thing to unlock by accident.
