Is it possible to go from Master Marks, to Master Carbineer, in 24 hours?? If so... HOW?

Life is tough. It's even tougher if you're stupid.

Well Master Carbineer takes 3,891,000 Carbine XP and 445,550 Combat XP. So lets take worst case scenario where you have ZERO extra XP after Master Marksman, which leaves more Combat XP than Carbine XP since it is 10% of the Weapon XP.

You are left to get 415,000 Combat XP and that requires 4,150,000 Weapon XP of which 3,800,000 must be Carbine XP. So if you can get Combat XP quicker using something else than a Carbine, then go ahead and get 35,000 Combat XP a different way.

Now lets be aggressive and say you can average 300,000 Carbine XP per hour, which you probably can't in the beginning. I just finished my second run on Carbineer and I was getting between 300k and 400k per hour....BUT I have millions and millions of credits worth of SEA's and a Master Creature Handler befriending two of the most UBER kinetic tanks in the game. At the same time I was just doing Rav Tortons on Rori since I am kinda bored with Rancors after killing a few thousand So there are faster ways than Rav Tortons.

So at 300k per hour average (and assuming you use Carbines to get the rest of the Combat XP), you need 13.8 hours of fighting. But you will have travel time and buff time and training time so lets add 15% on that.....16 hours of HARD COMBAT or equal to about 6 buff sessions.

Looking at the straight math, yes it can be done in 24 hours, but in practice it is highly doubtful. For further info on the profession and how to level, please consult the FAQ.

Oh, one more thing....

I assume you are trying to unlock a FSCS before Tuesday morning, but if you have anything less than 28 professions done.....your chances at Carbineer being the one to unlock is less than 25%.

And if you only have 12 done, then the odds that Carbineer will unlock is only 5%.....just some more math for ya

300k carbine exp per hour? Wow, I'm clearly doing something wrong (or right, depending on your opinion on grinding).

I think it was a general inquiry, and not a last desperate grind, as my impression of Tuesday's patch is that it will only change how jedi work, not the acquisition thereof. Was I mistaken?

300k carbine EXP/hr: Jinda cave on Endor, Squill cave on Tat, Fort Tusken on Tat, Hyperdrive Facility on Rori, Weapons Facility on Naboo, Imp Base on Dath, Nightsisters, etc.

If camped, my favorite is to go to Endor, take missions, and blaze a trail through every MOB I find on the way. That actually might make the EXP faster.

You are sadly mistaken....

Technically you can unlock until Publish 10, but the FSCS won't open after today to be played. So the only thing you can do is unlock to avoid the Quests, nothing else after Publish 9, which is tomorrow.

Right, holo grinders will be able to keep grinding it out until Publish 10. If they unlock between 9 and 10, they will get a system message telling them they did so, but will not be able to play the Jedi character until 10 is released.

Perhaps if the SMC was still open for business I could see getting Master Carbineer in a couple of hours lol. But I would think a case of beer and a pocket full of credits to pay for doc buffs would get your Carbineer over the weekend on Dath or Dantooine.
