I was wondering if anyone could explain to me the speed and accuracy caps for weapons. Are there caps? Does it mean when you hit +100 speed that any gun/special you use will hit for 1 shot a second (i heard that from someone but it sounds too good to be true).I was just hoping that someone could lay thisto rest for me once and for all.

Read the FAQ for Speed info and Accuracy has no hard cap but we assume at some point getting more is not effective.....but who knows with SOE

In these days of defense stackers and jedi guardians.....i'm thinking that the sky is the limit for accuracy.

Well when the +125 Hard Cap for Defenses works.......those stackers are not so tough with Master Carbineer Accuracy + SEA's + Adv. Scopes

Defense stackers are doable....its the jedi i'm worried about. On live now a 4444 guardian will still block 90% of a master rifleman's shots. I'm wondering it that is just a flat chance to happen, or if accuracy factors in.

This is not a personal attack on you, piezo, by any means, but your post just got me thinking...

Why do people complain that a Jedi is blocking most of thier attacks? Haven't you ever watched the movies? Episode II in particular, when they are in that stadium and getting shot at from all directions. The Jedi blocked blaster shots like it was nothing. I can't recall one time in a movie (granted, I'm not exactly a guru on them) where some guy with a rifle or any other ranged weapon for that matter, actually beat a Jedi one on one.

Oh, but fear not lol, the Jedi are getting raped with the new patch. They should be much easier to kill after that comes out lol.

I think that BH if anyone will be the ones complaining. A big part of their whole character concept is hunting jedi. Currently, no ranged person has a chance vs a decent guardian(melee can still hand them their ass).

Jedi should definitely block most of the shots...but not all of them. There are still 2 jedi patches to be released, and then who knows how many more for the combat balance. Who knows how things will be in a few months. Different for sure, but nobody knows how

Also, the people shooting at jedi were generally stormtroopers, and we all know howinaccurate they were in the movies. Yeah, luke blocked all their shots, but all the shots directed at the rest of the good guysoutright MISSED.(well leia got nicked once in 3 movies)

Quite simply this is NOT a movie, but a game that has to be fun......making comparisons to the details of the movies is often going to result in inaccuracies for the best interests of the game.

lots of good poop out there about speed caps, which, for master rifle isn't far off, but...

is there a cap on accuracy or accuracy while moving?

25 is for skill attachment, you get +10 at Master so the effective cap for acc while moving is 35

accuracy is another story, use of aim command acc food, skill attachments, the passive bonus that a sl gives, plus steady aim means that you miss 5% of the time effectively. (Ithink that there is a 5% chance you will misss regardless of accuracy, its a hard coded into the roll)
