So i ve wanted to buy a Krayted Carb for what seems like ages now. Almost did about a dozen times recently.
But now with the CU seemingly on the immediate horizon i ve decided to hold off and see what the new guns are capable of. Before shelling out major cash.
For all we know, things we hold dear could be rendered obsolete. Anyone doing the same, holding off on major purchases till after the upgrade?

No, heh. In fact, I've been spending every penny I have on enjoying the fact that DoT Carbs and crazy Krayt Carbines are so powerful, heh.
The way I see it, certain weapons will be obsolete, or atleast severely penalized, so having your Carbineer fun is what counts. Besides, it's probably still a couple of months away, enjoy the game!

If you do get a krayt carbine made in the next few weeks tho make sure you use a form fitted stock and a 0 HAM scope just to hedge your bets tho..... That covers what they may do with HAM and speed.....

And that 20% is subject to change (as are all numbers even after it goes LIVE)....remember nobody but SOE has tested the CU yet.....

Just a whole bunch of tissues at this point. There might be some on Trin's vendor though, a few went there, couple others were sold to some Imps.

ahh dirty imps, you should all be rebels... though i guess that would take out the fun of killing imps. yah i'm overloaded with tissues, i'll have to check out trins vendor.... or use the vendor search and just find one. thanks

I must admit to holding off a bit on my spending. I just buy 'regular' carbines and equipment at the moment and still have fun with PvE and PvP. Its funny but in all the time I've been a Carbineer I've never used a DOT carbine in PvP (except the Enhanced E11 but it generally doesnt cut it in most situations) and still have my share of wins just from using my profession specials. I hope to purchase the full array of new carbines and some nice new Imperial Battle or Assault armour when it becomes available.
