Thread: broken special attacks
I wouldn't mind if they made suppression an area posture down/snare attack
I would liek rapid fire to be less damage then leg shot but have a very fast recharge rate so we could fire it more often
Also charge shot would be nice if it had a cone area of 5-10m or a 45 degree arc ![]()
As a ranger/carbineer these are my only special attacks so I would like them upped in effectiveness a bit ![]()

Rapid fire : Redundant Special.TA has iton the list to be looked at.
Leg shot: Targets legs, huge damage mod, decent action cost and recharge rate. No complaints at all
(And it never did reduce the opponents damage, and was never supposed to. Only special I know of that does that is Intimidate, a Pistoleer and some other melee class' ability)
Suppesion fire: This is one of our biggest issues. Currently broken to sh** and is on the TA's list.
This has all been discussed, at length, in numerous threads. None of these have changed with any 'hotfixes', they've all been just as broken/redundant as they were day 1 of TC.
only thing i want fixed is supression fire, everything else is working pretty well IMO.
really dont want alot of area effects, the carbineer description for the CU says damage dealer/crowd control, so too many area effects would just make it unbalanced in itself. they tend to make aoe attacks alot weaker than their single attack siblings.
