I am not so sure elemental damage is even adding to the dps of weapons.

I only see them doing thier normal max damage.

Maybe TA can test this more thoroughly

You're right, a guy in the WS board tested it. Elemental damage is broken.

I guess that's why many people found out that the proton carbine (90 elemental damage), although having more DPS, does less damage than the elite or the e11 mk2.

Please take 5 seconds to actually CALCULATE the DPS of a weapon with Elemental Damage.....you will find it is included in the DPS number on the Weapon Examine Window.

Now the questions still remains.....does the elemental damage actually work on the target? I haven't personally tested it yet.

One more thing, I didn't see where the numbers from that WS Forum Post came from.....the Combat Log is not showing Elemental Damage at all for anything but that doesn't mean it isn't included in the reported number OR the actual damage done to the target.

Only a comparison of the Combat Log vs the actual damage inflicted on the target will prove this broken or not.

That is also why Jedi DPS is borked atm too. Please no flames, I have fought the same mobs with both toons and the jedi dps is a joke in comparison.

It's busted for sure. My Slug thrower and proton are not near as good to use as my elites and E11's

A good test is with a proton and an elite

or a cerka and the slug
