Thread: Knockdown and dizzy, post-patch

Ok, I'm posting this here because the general forums are too crowded, and everyone here is smarter anyway. What I was wondering was, if someone is dizzy, can they only fall down once every 30 seconds, or is that not affected by the new timer? I have no reliable way of doing dizzy to test this with, so I was wondering if anyone else had. The idea was that maybe if you could dizzy someone and then KD or PD them, you could still have a chance of making them fall down a few times before they got back up, and you could bypass the timer. Anybody have any thoughts or answers? Thanks.

i got made dizzy by a mob on dantooine...i fell like 3 times in a min..and then stayed there for a while...it was my first time like that...it sucked

yeah, i havent had the pleasure of being knocked around yet since the patch. i was on dantooine the night before the patch and fell down 3 times in about 7 seconds. **edit**voritors



I'm just hoping it's still like that, otherwise, dizzy has been made totally useless.

at a guess, based on the way that the patches and nerfs seem to be thrown together, they completely missed the fact that dizzy can cause you to go kd after a pc. thus, it will not be afffected by the timer. once people start soloing harder mobs than white-con this way, the devs will say 'hey, screw you guys. we're gonna hit you with the nerf bat again.' and add all moves that can cause dizzy to the 30 second timer.


i don't understand why they don't just remove all of the kd/pc specials from the game. oh wait, b/c then thye'd have to code in something for us whiny carbineers (sarcasm).

Ya dizzy sucks in a truly powerful way now post patch, a canibal dew back made me dizzy on its first strike, as i was kneeling for better aim, well i fall and lay there for 40 secs or so until i'm inced trying to stand the whole time to no effect.



Way to go devs, kd nerf = good, poster change nerf= overreaction becasue you can still attack while kneeling, nerf the too prone change, forgot about dizzy= truly retarded
