Hello everybody. I'm a novice Carbineer, and I was wondering if I should also take up the Bounty Hunter Carbine skills. What I really want to do is PvP with the best of 'em, but I want to do it using a Carbine. Could anybody tell me if it would be worth my time going into Bounty Hunter only, Carbineer only, or Bounty Hunter carbine skills and Master Carbineer?

Well thats a good question it depends though Id say just carbineer and something else (such as CH or doctor etc.) Unless u really wanna take the time to get BH.

Yes, BH is amazing PvP and they have alot of good shots plus an amazing weapon speed bonus. There damage on there weapons out do any other Class except the new commando. To combine the Cabine line with the BH Carbine line would be an awesome PvP class.

My clanmate is a wookiee Expert Bounty Hunter (Carbines) and going for a couple of branches of the carbineer lines, and all I have to say, is that right now: He wins all his duels, period. And all he uses is a laser carbine!

yes....for all min/maxers, or those who want to be the deadliest with their given weapon, the current way to go is: master carbineer(or pistoleer) plus bounty carbine4 (or bounty pistol4). this combo is THE deadliest solo combo in the game. furthermore, you're left with 13 skill points to spend, so you can also get novice in an elite profession plus one skill box. or, you can advance further in bh if you chosoe to.

so, if you want to be a master of solo pvp...be imperial, be a master carbineer(pistoleer)/bh carbine4 (pistol4), pull out a cowardly gurreck, and 3 at-st's. on a more serious note, bh's are designed (or were, at least) with the intent of being able to solo 10k ham mobs at novice. this has changed somewhat, but not significantly, and their kd shots in the carbine line are so much better than charge shot that its funny.
