I'll tell ya. I kill myself already with the HAM costs. OK. I've been doing that for awhile now, that's not the prob. With my laser carbine using burst1 i hit from about 400 to 2500 damage. Usually at least 1k, and it costs me about 40 health and 40 action. When i use crippling shot i hit for about 500 to 3800, usually about the same as burst1. To top it all off crippling shot is slower! Is it just me? Or has anyone else stuck to burst1. If you guys get better results with crippling shot let me know. Thanks

P.S should i bother with scatter shot?

The damage mod / ham cost ratio should be more efficient on cripple shot from my calculations, not by a huge deal but still better. I find cripple shot to be far more efficient, but I have BH carbine on top of carbineer so the speed is the same on both.. So cant comment on that one.

first off, i'd suggest using a GOOD dxr6 over a GOOD laser. however, a mediocre laser is generally better than a good dxr6, lol (by GOOD, i mean 110-172, 2.6 speed for the dxr6....that's the best i've seen, and i've got two just like it. lemme know ifyou're is better. oh yeah, and ham is like 25/46/24 i think, not in-game and i don't remember cuz it was 1 aciton ham lower than my laser)

now then...my crippling shot seemed to go off around 2 seconds after i clicked the button. burst shot seemed about the same for me, too, when i finally got it. (i mastered the speed chain, then accuracy, now counterattack)

for me, i still prefer crippling shot even though burstshot costs a deal less for one simple reason: it drops the enemy faster. enemy down = i can heal without fear, so lost ham becomes a rather moot point as long as i live.

Granted dealing a "bit" more damage is nice, but i'm spending a bit of time one endor and using crippling shot i'll die before they do. I'm going to check out my laser when the servers come up to see what my HAM costs are. Any word on scatter shot?

Scattershot is less damage overall, you'll need more shots to kill one target than you do with cripple shot, except in the extreme unlucky cases where you keep hitting for not alot of damage to 3 different pools, so scatter can be a bit more consistent.. but that's been very very rare for me.

But, about dying before the mobs do with cripple shot, is it the speed doing that to you or what? Cause if you're not getting hit at all, cripple will deal slightly more damage for the ham it spends

It does deal more damage to the mob, but to me as well. If the 109 action it costs me to use it was spread out, like burst is i could take it. But it's not. the only time i use it really is pvp, where i don't see many people going for my action pool.

Yeah, my calculations were somewhat dumb and only included the number on top of your head Didn't really take into account that they dont draw an even amount from the pools.. I dont think I ever really payed any any attention to it myself So yeah, burst shot will probably be better for killing big things if they have enough hp for you to run out of action with cripple.

I still primarily use fullautosingle 2 and I'm 1 box from master. Stun and blind are nice and it does about the same damage as cripple.

Please everyone do your selves a favor and buy a dh17 sub the dmg is high should be 100-178 if its a good one and ham is goo 21/25/13 on mine spam specials and have a tatoinne sunburn enjoy

I have to say personalyl I like my Laser carb 96-484 after powerup/slice, and hit for 2k-4.5k consistently with Cripple and with novice medic and good stim bs I do decently, even after all the recent nerfs

What galaxy are in in Lenaic??? 96-484 is amazing. The top carbine i have found on Ahazi is on Tatooine, 50-459 sliced by master smuggler (a very rare 1 in 30 slice on damage) WITH a powerup. The maker of it was Islon by the way if anybody is intersted.
