I had a really hard time getting used to the new system. After I finally figured out what all I was doing wrong I was doing great on dath at LVL 45... Advanced to LVL 49 and they some more ballance passes on some of the planets... now I cant find anything at or around my LVL worth XP.

Everything cons Grey or purple... either 1 XP or Instant death. Anyone got any ideas where I can find any "mid level" content? Namely Levels 45-50 mobs? Seems that the devs are slowly getting rid of all mid level content... Its gonna all be noob or powergamer... no inbetween...

Just when the game was starting to become fun again they went and made more changes, now it seems that its not worth playing again.

the wandering around randomly killing method of grinding is pretty well gone. Use mission terminals at player cities.

Join a level 80 group of friends on Dant and you won't need Mid-content anymore after just a few hours.

Mission terms right now are the only way to keep your targets close enough to your level for decent XP....solo or in a group.

Amen. Hook up with some lvl 80's that know what they are doing, and just hang in back. Your getting an additional 10% extra XP for every level the mob is above you, and if you spent 45 secs watching a Master Dancer, add another 10% on for the inspiration buff. Be advised though, the "reach" on Mobs is insane. I've been hit from like 18-20M by picketts, so make sure your tracking the distance...

The reach is a latency bug. If you are a low level grouped with high level combat char, then just auto attack and let it be, allow them all the aggro.

I've been hit up to 60meters away, while attacking the same mob in melee (some range on that polearm!!), as the rest of the melee guys are on top of the mob complaining about an out of range message.

Best thing for you tanks to do in a bugged combat situation like that is to look at who is taking the damage and run to them. Even if the mob looks like it is a hundred meters away the game thinks it is right infront of the rifleman (just an example, but those guys have no idea about how to distribute aggro ). Once you find the guy thats taking the damage you know where the melee based mob is standing.

you can still wander and kill random creatures but it requires you to use the correct planet for your CL. Most of the lower level planets are not densely populated enough to wander but these are the ones I know.

Tat- CL15-25

Dant- CL 35-50

Dath CL 65-75 (can do 80 but the pickings get thin, I suggest 70)

I'm pretty sure there is an level gap 'cap' though, not sure what it is but I know a low level only get's 10% XP grouped with a high level (i.e. a level 5 killing level 80 mobs with a level 80 group). 57 with a 72 seems ok though.

I'm sure your right. I don't see SOE handing out 67K XP to a lvl 13 on a lvl 80 pickett. That said, I had a a lvl 34 with me last night, and he was pulling something like 12K XP per kill, which, of course, has been reduced since the death of double coupon week. Either way, you can blow through a tree of weapon XP in a couple of hours, NP.
