Thread: Can't find one anywhere...is there a chart of CL points per skill box???
Here is my story...
4/4/3/4 carb/master WS/master artisan/marksman with 0/0/4/4and a bunch of FS boxes...I have 0 skill points oh and no XP because of FS trade in
that gives me lvl 47...I WANT lvl 50..will dropping master artisan and taking, say pistols 1 and rifles 1 (can get that no prob) give me 3 more CL points?

Sorry but impossible to develop a pattern, it looks at XP gained at tiers and different profs and adds it up with some magic formula or formuli.
The Devs were asked about this and said they have no set rule that box X gives so many CL points. If we had all their complicated formula that goes into it, then we could do it but they aren't giving that out. And right now there is not enough knowns to match all the variables to even begin to develop our own approximate formula....sorry.

Sorry, I really, really, really want to be able to do this for my own templates......it is frustrating for all of us and the whole CL thing isn't SWG IMO either.

Ain't that the truth...
Pre-CU, I used to kill things I should not have been able to...
Not through super-buffs and spamming the "I win button"...
But, unbuffed, through selective use of specials, foods, and terrain features...
It's what made carbineer fun, now it's just running around looking for critters with the same number as me.
My issue is not with the CL, but jeez, get rid of this level modifier nonsense. I want to be able to kill level 80s at my level 47 with proper tactics and skill.

FYI...with 4/4/3/4 carbineer, marksman pistols I and II give you no CL increase....proven tonight.
