Carbineer Archive
Thread: Important message for TAfirehawk
You are very welcome.
At times I feel like I have let all of you down because Carbineer isn't what it could/should/promised to be from the Devs. But the reality is that it is all beyond my control.
Even though my 6 month term is up, I have notified Tiggs that I wish to stay on as Carbineer Correspondent.....but once things settle down for the Devs expect them to open up applications from the rest of you. Either way I am sticking around to make the recommendations to fix/change Carbineer.
Man if you wanna stay the more power to ya. I think you were a great source of info even before ya became corro, and afterward you made your best attempts to keep the carb forum straight and clean of clutter.
Some things were a blindside to everyone, but you kept your composure. Tap on to it that you take the responsibility and get nothing but your own personal satisfaction outta it...my next pint is to you![]()
Composure was kept out here, but at times I really went off in the private forums.....
After a couple days of going nuts I got over it and came back down to Earth realizing the only way to affect change is to work within the system ![]()

Without remotely keeping track, I'd guess that something around 2000 of them have been helpful. There's just a lot of posts that look like this:
"LOL"
or like this
"
"
Etc.. I'm sure behind the scenes you were more useful as a correspondant, but from out here it looked like you produced more "data" before you got the title. You definately kept your composure in the public forums, not something I think I might'vebeen able to do, but that just show's a passion for the game, and it's not always a bad thing either.
Not many of my posts are like that.....but some are for sure ![]()
And the 'data' I produce is directly proportional to what is new/changing in SWG.....since I became Corr the CU has been the only thing going on and it just went LIVE.....so you are seeing more 'data' from me in the past couple weeks. Not sure what I was toreport on in the last 7 months....but I did update and expand the FAQ and Important Links ![]()

Let down? are you kidding me?
SWG as a whole "let down" with all the bork, nerf, gijoe, barbiedoll, transformers (I dunno, just using toy names (nerf) to TRY and explain that the devs act like devs do)
I have worked 10 years in the IT biz on the support side of the house...and I will tell you. For the most part, devs develop things with ABSOLUTLY NO CLUE as to how the end user wants or needs to use the final product. You, my friend, have kept them on the straight and narrow as well as ANYONE could be expected to.
