So far I have found replacing both my arms with cybernetic limbs to make carbineer a lot more fun! The first arm from Dr. Kinesworthy on Kashyyyk gives a +10 m range bonus with range weapons, and the one from Quakee in the Bestine cantina gave me a plus +5 m range bonus to range weapons. I can now shoot one meter farther than our pre-CU range of 64m! It can really surprise people in a duel when you can shoot at them from 65 m with a carbine, especially a rifleman with a root special, because you will have the same range as him if he has no cybernetic limbs.
Thought I would share this with any carbineers who miss their old attack range.

the one i got from qakee didn't seem to change my stats at all.

Well it will say you are out of range still, but you really aren't. Go to 55 m and try and shoot something with his arm equipped. You will still attack.

it doesn't seem to apply the +5 accuracy.
and, for fighting jedi, i would rather not have the -10 melee defense either...

There certainly seems to be some benefits in having cybernetic limbs added to your character, but for me, these benefits are far outweighed by the fact that they make you look like a completetw*t![]()
Well that's my excuse anyway, I'm playing on Chimaera so I'm still fuming at getting legged over with all the roll backs and am currently protesting by refusing to buy ROTW(yeah, in other words, I'm waiting 'til it appears in the bargain under £5 bin in my local game store
when I'll buy it.....because I'm weak:smileysad
. Maybe the bugs will be fixed by then tho![]()
