Does anyone have the caps for any of the carbine skill mods?
Accuracy while moving
Carbine Speed
Carbine accuracy
I hear that now you can have > +25 (total points) SEA's so you can have +30 (or more)carbine accuracy while moving now and not have the extrapoints be wasted? Is that true if so what is the cap?
sorry for the dumb question

No caps on anything, but please look and watch for updates in my Carbineer Test Data STICKY thread for info on 'soft caps' or weapon speed restrictions.
And +25 is still the max for ANY SEA....just like pre-CU it displays on the Skill Sheet (post-CU also on Character Sheet) above +25 but trust me as I have personally tested this.....anything above +25 is not valid. Don't believe everything you read/hear ![]()
Accuracy While Moving is no longer a valid Player Mod....it might still work, but it isn't in any Skill Boxes and thus shouldn't be in any formula (never know if SOE left the code in by accident or not).

They dont have a cap they have diminishing returns....Basicly if you have for example 60 speed and with your other skills you shot at 1 shot per 2 seconds. Then you get another 10 speed. Now you shoot at say...1 shot every 1.6 seconds...a .4 second reduction. Now with diminishing returns lets say you level up a lot and now have all skills combined etc...120 speed. Now your shooting at 1 shot every .8 seconds with your new uber master gun and higher combat skills etc. You go grab that 10 speed shirt you stashed away to keep safe wile you leveled. But with the diminishing returns it would only change your speed to .75 seconds to fire a shot. Only a .05 reduction because you are much stronger.
So even if everyone would sell their + 10 carbine speed attachments (a lot of people have more money than they will ever use not just you) and you put an extra + 100 speed...wile you would be faster than someone who only added say 60 speed. It would not be the same advantage the guy with 60 speed would have over another guy with only 20 speed even though the spread is the same.
The trick is finding the spot where adding more carbine speed for example would not help you as much as adding say...10 ranged defence.
Attachments now will give the most bang for the buck so to speak for skills you dont have the skill points to boost. A carbineer who is not going bh would get a lot of boost out of carbine speed attachments. But a bh carbineer would have tons of speed already...and acc. Would get better results if he found attachments in say mele def bringing it closer to his ranged def.
