Im currently 3/4/3/4 in carbine and I must say....so far I think it blows in PvP. Now i already have a pair of comp gloves with +11 carbine speed in them so I dont think its speed. I use a laser carbine for PvP and it will take me 4 or more crippleing shots to incap anyone, thats if I dont miss!!! I was a pistoleer and dropped it. TK got boring and I was tired of getting kited. Now im almost a master carbineer and so far Im very dissapointed.

The simple fact that I cannot even think about PvP w/o doc buffs is pretty sad (i know...tat sunburn). A rifleman can one shot kill me....a pistoleer (prolly a dabbler) can one shot kill me... and I can 4 shot kill them. Shouldnt we put out more damage than a pistoleer but less than a rifleman? Anyone else feel the same?

Yes. MUCH better at master.

1 shot pistoleer??? Now that would be a good trick.

wiht prepatch uber Krayt FWG5s, i've seen it happen. fought a master pistoleer with one and he was using stoppingshot on me for 800 damage (with ranged mitigation 3 as well)

yes pistolers that have goood goood weps can one shot fools who dont ware armor or have bufs lol but so can carbiners with cripeling shot if they have uber weps its all about haveing uber stuf lol othere wise dont matter what your template is you will never come to mach with a 600 dam fwg5 spaming stop shot or lastdich or a tk with 250 dam vibs or a riflemen with a t21 thatmax 750 dam it alll depends on your weps in pvp

why are you using a laser carbine in pvp with damage mitigation recently implemented? bad idea, im surprised that it taking "4 or more crippling shots" to incap your opponent didnt clue you in here. btw you are only 3 boxes into the +speed tree and youre using crip shot with a laser carb in pvp? sounds to me like you were dueling which isnt 'real' pvp. most big pvp battles do not last as long as it would take to get off 4 crippling shots with a laser carb and your speed mods, i dont care if your gloves are +20 speed. hell most wars dont last that long.

get buffs or dont bother pvp'ing as a carbineer.

Carbineer can be just as good in PVP as any other class. I was doing fine against commandos, TKAs and other combat templates today.
