Made Master Carbineer 2 days ago to go with my Master Doc and thought I'd try it out in PvP.

I dueled my PA friend...she is a VERY good PvP'er and basically handed me my ass. Actually I feel I would have won had I not been ranged KD/Dizzy'd. Got to find an answer to that somehow.

In any event, I was quite happy with how I held up. She was a Master TKA/Rifleman with a Ranged KD from some other profession.

Was impressed me most was counterattack. I remember reading some threads in this forum a while back implying that it was broken and/or useless. This certainly wasnt the case for me. I Counterattacked roughly 20%-30% of her Master Head shots, including 3 of the last 5 shots that hit me on the ground (lol).

I am now in the market for Counterattack Skill tapes. I have already bought a +3 one cheap. Because there are so few Carbineers no one seems to bid on these in the trade forums so they are easy to get hold of cheaply.

Thanks for reading my random thoughts

Currently, there's an exploit involving the rifleman/tka combo template where they can evoke the tka melee kd+dizzy at range. She most likely exploited this.

Yes, if someone is dizzy, and you use suppression fire on them, there is a chance it will not just lower their position, but knock them down.

Vane-Bothan Master Carbineer-Radaint.
Tyler-"And why would anybody want this $hit job?"
Jack-"Because it affords him other interesting opportunities."
Tyler-"Like splicing single frames of porno into family films."
Jack-"No one knows they saw it, but they all did."
Tyler-"A nice big c0ck..."

Or she may have used the Riflemans ranged attacks to do it.
