Thread: krayt DXR6 stats...
just had this made. never was a big fan of the dxr6 but its amazing what some good krayt tissues will do to a gun that sucks in every way except for the fact that it does acid damage ![]()
damage sliced krayt dxr6 (/w scope): 148-345dam/ 3.4 speed, 24.7%wound, +27% ideal range, 40/57/33 ham.
i havent seen any krayted dxr6's until now so i have nothing to compare it with. anyone else have a decent krayt dx?
That speed sounds pretty poor for a Krayt, what tissues did you use? Every one of my good Krayt weapons hit my speed cap of 1.0 before calculating the special delay.
Once I get in-game I will post the stats to my 2 Krayt DXR6's. I also have 2 Krayt Laser's, DH17 Short Carbine, Elite, and EE3 ![]()
I gave away a previous Krayt Laser that failed in experimentation and still have 1 of my 2 failed in experimentation, which for the price of tissues REALLY BLOWS.![]()

I don't mind speed slices, depending on the tissues used. I just put max/min powerups on them so either slice works for me. ![]()

With MBH/carbineer speed mods and carbine speed attachments I really don't need speed slices. Everyone needs more damage though. Such is life.

For using Krayt Tissue, that doesn't seem to be to good. What tissues were used and what % slice was it?
My Nyms Slug Thrower got 29% slice and with a power-up has about the same stats (minus wound % and accuracy modifiers).
Lord knows, with my severe lack of defenses I'd never stand a chance of getting out of the way

-0.3/+83 tissues were used. i wouldve preferred better speed on these tissue over the good damage but its all i had for tissues. i had hoped for a speed slice so i could have super-fast acid carbine but got damage instead. still it hits hard and with +61 speed its faster than any other dx ive owned.
also dont compare a weapon that hasnt been powered up with a weapon that has. im not saying this is the best dx krayt ever made but it owns Nyms. i have a 33% damage slice on my nyms and a 25% speed on my other nyms and there is no comparison. i took all 3 weapons out to test on gurks and the dx was far superior in overal damage and accuracy. i dislike powerups anyway as i go through them so fast that its not practical to carry around 50 un-crated powerups in my inv so that i can reload them in the middle of combat. besides, any weapon that 'needs' a powerup to not-suck is a weapon that sucks.
The problem with acid carbines is that in general they are junk and if it wasnt for their acid damage they wouldnt be worth the resources they are made with. both nyms and the dxr6 also suck when it comes to accuracy: +0 with nyms and generally the same on unscoped dx's; thats unnacceptable to anyone that cares what kind of weapon they use to hunt and pvp with. get a scoped dxr6 experimented fully for ideal range and compare the accuracy with nyms for yourself and youll see what i mean. i didnt have a dx krayted so that i could have the most uber weapon, i had it krayted so that i could have an acid damage carbine that 1) was accurate 2)hadSPD that was closer to 3.0 than 4.0 without a speed slice3) did good damagein the event that i didnt get a damage slice without having to use a damage powerup.
