Thread: Will carbs make up for commando?

hey all. ive been playing commando after the CU now, and its fun, but very unusefull with the AoE in EVERY attack. At least carbs only have em in some, and there useful. but here is my question: will Master BH/ Master carbs/ and CM 4xxx be a viable pvp and pve template?
i was talking it over with a guilie the previous night and he helped me come up with this. good damage dealing and specials, and we factored in the fact that i can heal. and if this indeed is good (since this is not the first time ive seen this temp) could i hvae a few pointers on sum tactics to use.
so i would appreciate any feedback please.

Well, I have not played BH post-CU, so I am not the best to comment on this template. I'm sure it is a perfectly viable template. BH adds plenty of excellent general ranged mods to help you out. Running Duelist Stance is a must and will give you a ton of extra defense. BH provides a nice damage special in Critical Shot. You'll also get an extra knockdown in Underhand shot. Of course, the healing in CM 4xxx will be very helpful. If this is what you want to do, I say go for it. Should be very capable.

Yes and no.
Bh is a huge SP sink. And you end up with no root shout the BH skill timers are 1-2 logner then the weapon specific ones but you ahve SLIGHTLY more Speed and sligthly less ACC. Tho duelest stance is nice 250 defence mods for 30 sec is nice.
Its up to you tho.

I am Master Commando/Carbineer w/ Pistols x3x4 and Novice Smuggler. I find that this template suits me very well; alot of defense/offense aswell as accuracy, nice specials and croud control abilities (ASL is a BUMMER for group PvP).
I was Master BH/Commando w/ Pistols xxx4 for some times and this template plays very nice, too. In fact: more defense, slightly less accuracy, decent specials & weaponry.
I would say it is upon you and your personal playstyle, take whatever suits you best, not what others tell you is best.

my template is MBH/MC/0003 pistols(root)/0020 medic.... with +25 in med efficiency clothes I get my bacta shot to around 1000 every 5 seconds, pretty good healing if you ask me
