hi there,
i was wondering if someone could tell me, I am a novice carbineer 2222, master doc, and I was thinking of switching to pistoleer or maybe BH instead of carbineer, my combat level right now is 63, is carbineer a good enough combat prof to keep? what are some of the best shots you can you when PVE? what is a all around good carbine to buy once you are half way through (as I am)? I am looking to eventually go jedi, haven't been to the village yet and I don't really do any PVP. I was told that carbineer was one of the better combat professions to have...is this true? can someone help answer my questions!! thanks!

Carbineer is an excellent combat profession. (What else do you think you'd hear on the Carbineer forum? 
) Please peruse both the FAQ and the Recommended Path to Carbineer stickied above. To quickly answer your questions, I would use Leg Shot for damage, Cripple shot to snare your targets and keep them away, and Charge shot to knock them down. The best carbine for you to use right now is probably an Elite Carbine, which is certed for anybody at CL 54.
