What is a good shot to use to pull single targets out of groups, but still not agro all the mobs?

*snap* too bad, you put too many details into the question. Otherwhise my answer would have been "full auto area", nothing pulls faster... *grin*
Otherwhise, i haven't discovered the shot you are looking for within carbineer abilities, i am sorry. Carbineer is good, but not exactly subtle.

Any shot other than an AOE or KD/Snare shot from carbs will work to pull, it's more a case of knowing how to pull rather than assuming one shot will get a target from the mob. It won't.
