i just got a new carbine, put 2 lvl slices on it and whent and killed 1 lvl81 avatar guird. after i killed him i looked at my new carbine and it had decayed 10 points. i don't remember weapons decaying so much when i was ranged pre cu.

i can see armor decay.....but weapon decay is utter BS.......im looking, right now at a gun i have that is over 200 years old and still functions....so to have a gun in a high tech world like star wars that ceases to function aftar about a year game time, is crap

That 200 year old gun no doubt wasn't fired constantly for several hours a day every day.

It seems to me to be about the same rate of decay.

good point...but it does get fired every year during muzzleloader hunting season....but still....when i was in the army my M-16 was about 16 years old or more, still works beautifully.....all im saying is that the weapon decay should be a lot slower

Current rate of decay is fine, i would say... you can make a good deal of money with one weapon, so part of the money should go to weaponsmiths and armoursmiths.

I'd have to disagree. While I've never been in the military, I know you guys don't unload clip after clip from your rifles on a regular basis. Keep in mind you can grab some repair kits and do some maintenance on your guns. Its amazing how many people think that is worthless, but it really does make them last several times longer. A crate of 25 6 use 99.99999% repair kits goes for about 25k cr on my server (starsider). Though, only really uber guns are worth worrying about decay anyways, and then you may want to think about ADK'ing it instead of worring about it.

If the weapon is PUPped, it has a better chance to decay on every shot you take. Read the description of your PUPs. Anyways, I'm assuming that pupping the weapon is where most of your decay is coming from.

theres your problem there, slicing weapons increases decay rate i think you'll find, as does using pups.
