And the exact same thing as in the Rifles forum, just change carbine to rifle and add "ALR vs. T-21". Shame you cant /addignore on the forums based on subject.

Anything that has to do with the pointless stat DPS

anyone else feel cheated that a first day carbineer can go out and buy a capped carbined then come to our forums and ask how to slice it.... i hate caps, it was so much better when the older carbineers 9 times out of 10 had the better carbines... now anyone can go otu buy a capped carbine, come here ask how to get it sliced and have us at a stalemate for weapons....

thats what bothers me the most... not really the noob carbineers fault, the devs i guess but it bothers me none the less

I agree 100%. I used to actually put thought into how my carbine was made. Delicately balancing sac and speed to just the right point, and still getting as good of damage as I could. Now you just get some power cells and you gota double capped carbine, no thinking involved.

P.S. To the postertwo above me: DPS is not a pointless stat. It's gives a fairly good approximation of how good the gun is for general situations. You just have to know that having a good sac is equally important, and that a faster gun will drain your action more.
