I have had this question floating around in my head for sometime and think if anyone would know might be here. No one can give me a 100% answer...

OK I know the bonuses from BE clothing caps at 25 and the bonuses from SEAs caps at 25 but what about modded looted clothing does that fall under the bonuses for clothing as well?

ie.looted bando from NS elder +25melee def and a +16 BE melee def player crafted shirt. do these bonuses cap at the +25 from the bando? or do they stack?

i posted this in the tailor forum too but I kinda doubt they would actually know (might be wrong there) but i figured maybe someone here might know as you guys are the best at testing to see if things are working or not.

As far as i know these modifiers are added up and then capped to +25. No way around that, sorry.

all non-skill-box granted mod's are capped at +25, weather from loot, weapon, BE clothing etc.

No one knows the answer I think but there are loads of people who think they do.

The programmer who has probably moved on may have known but his boss didn't ask and he can always use the game spoiling reply if anyone asks him.

If the problem gets out of hand - that is no one really knows anything and the person who is asking is resposible for pay rises and I cannot make a convincing excuse then I will recommend a combat upgrade.

I hope that answers your question.
