Thread: Hmm, Anti-FOTM templates.

But now it seems like MBH/Ranged is FOTM, I dont want to be just another clone. The good news is I have enough SEAs to make up for not having BH, but I can't really think of a good carbineer/whatever that'd be an effective PvPer and could counter the MBH craze. Any suggestions?

i tried the MC and MSL combo once, was a really fun template in group PvP. only problem is the devs nerfed the heck out of our area attacks so that kinda kills the group attacking thing. not sure how SL is right now either, but it used to be a lot of fun
Master Carbineer/Master Marksman/Master Doctor looks intersting. Bacta Infusion apparently is great against jedi, and having a PvPing doc is nice. Can take foods for accuracy and I got enough tapes to get a decent dps (tempalte gives 85 speed).
Mcarbineer/Mmarks/Mccommando/Pistol 0003 looks good too. More speed and accuracy for both carbines and heavy weapons. Not sure though if I would even use carbines.
Honestly it is hard to imagine any template with Carbineer in it anymore.....and those Carbineers with BH are just barely adding Carbineer into BH, not the other way around....
Not that you can't have fun with BH/Carbineer, but in almost every situation in PvE and PvP BH with something else is better.....maybe not more fun, but surely better from a tactical standpoint.....very sad.... 
So as long as you go Master Carbineer, wear that Title, and dabble in anything else your are not FotM......and if anybody tells you Carbineer is FotM, they are not playing the same SWG I am.

Anyone know if we could use armor break while holding a ranged weapon?

But ya know what? I am not gonna let any of the new MBH/ranged templates get me down.
I will always love MBH, I will always love MCarbs.
I aint no FotM. I am playing what I have always played. Nobody is going to ruin it for me.
