Since when is 100 the speed cap??? Far as I know speed cap for every prof is 125, however once you hit 100 you won't see much difference between that and 125.

There is a flaw with the mathematical speed formula - basically once you hit 100 every special and every gun for every combat profession is speed capped.
Here is a good web page to read: Rem's Guide to Weapon Speed
Basically once you get to 100 for your speed you can cap specials with a gun if it is 5.2 or 99999.9 or whatever

I think your nit picking TA, 100 is a just a rough number and I never actually said that that IS the cap. Just you won't see any difference after that because of how the speed works. In fact Doctorgriggs post and link just comfirm the so I'm not sure why he says my math is flawed. But if you still think I made a mistake somewhere, I'm sorry your highness TAFirehawk.
(little heart broken that you would laugh at me, but no hard feelings anyways)

Because the speed formula is so borked 100 = 125. You will see ZERO improvement.

Doc said the Speed Formula itself is flawed.....although your idea of the Speed Cap is just as flawed.
Sorry if it feels like I was picking or nit picking on you, but disputing facts and figures with The Numbers Guy here, well that often comes across poorly I guess....
No need to appologize to me, just Read the FAQ and get educated before posting wrong information.....all profs Speed Cap well below +100.

Ok I think I see where this went wrong, I just came across the wrong way. I've always knowen that all professions can fire their slowest special at 1.0 sec even without 100 or more speed. My original post was just saying that the speed cap that the devs put in is 125, even if going that high is worthless since the system is flawed.
So on the real topic as to this guys question, (sorry if ya got confused by all this bud), yes your speed capped by quite a bit and yes that means you can fire any speed gun with any special at one second.
ok I'm leaving this post now, won't come back, so please don't post anymore replys directed at me.

Just to clarify, the Devs did NOT put in a +125 Speed Cap on any prof....
The +125 Cap is for defenses: Ranged/Melee/Block/Counterattack/Dodge.
