Hi all,
I'm just starting to make new runs of weapons and was wondering how important the SAC costs are to the
carbineer profession?
I made a run of Elite Carbines last night that came out with a 310dps base and 85 SAC. I'm wondering if I should try to sacrifice some of the damage for an even lower SAC.
Thanks for your help!

Whoa, that's way better than the elites I'm making. How'd you manage that without enhancement loot?
To answer your question, I've been able to use a 85 SAC laser carbine quite well. I'd say that's a good balance.

Those are pretty good. Most carbines I've seen have an action cost of 94. My E11 mark2 is just over 300 base DPS, with a 94 action cost.
If you were on Starsider, I'd buy some from you.

Ok, thanks for the feedback.
I'll have to do some more experimenting, but these were made from pre-curb components (ABPH, Barrel, Stock)
I didn't use a scope which might account for the low SAC, I'll have to compare the accuracy/SAC with scoped vs. non-scoped versions.
Thanks,

Yeah that is awesome Action Cost.....and most certainly pre-CU stuff and current stuff puts the cost from 94-114.
I got an order in for 10 new Carbines fully setup with loot components and pre-CU stocks/scopes.

i have an e11 mk2 (sliced) base 312 dps, SAC 85, first e11 mk2 our guild ws made.
I got him some krayt tissues, so hopefully he cranks out some more.
It seems to me any thing with SAC over 90 or so kills your action bar way to fast, if you are using specials properly. Unless you find someone to buff you, and take food and pixie, then the higher SAC's become practical.
I cant wait to try out one of the protons...

PreCU Stocks add min/max -20 SAC and 0.0 speed whilst new ones are roughly no min/max 0.053 added speed and -12 SAC.

All 10 weapons in my latest order are using pre-nerf Stocks and Scopes both
And the standard Krayt Tissues from 50-170 damage
