Thread: Anyone doing Master Smuggler /. Master Carbineer / Pistoleer boxes ? I need some feedback.

i took the same template than you, feeling than pistol and smuggler kind of overlap by their "crowd control" and debuffing specials. Carabineer had some nice damage specials (leg shot) and a range KD, as Low Blow doesn't seem to KD anymore (altough i hope it is a bug...).
From Pistoleer, i only keep 4400. First i respect to 0044, but the last column isn't so usefull, i don't see a lot of difference without the 40 defense. A shot in the Smuggler skills do a root too, and full auto area can replace fan shot. The only valuable thing in the xx4x column was the intimidate shot, and since it doesn't half the damage anymore, i can do without it. So with 4400 i get some nice specials (warning shot, disarm, a ranged stun - but i'm not sure if stun is really usefull now..), more general ranged accuracy, and a lot of pistol speed : this allows me to use pistols andkeepsa high dps.
Furthermore, that template gives two armor cert (reco and battle), that's another reason why i choose it - and i like padded armor, yeah even the standard blue one ![]()

Master Smuggler / Master Carbineer / Rifles 4000
I went rifle for Improved HeadShot and the accuracy. Improved headshot is much better then Legshot as far as damage goes and you can alternate between the very effectively. Also, the ranged accuracy bonus you get with Rifle is great for you carbine.
