My first special is cripple shot followed by body shot.

My default is leg shot on the run

if said target gets to close I use underhanded shot, and keep moving away

I keep stopping shot in reserve incase things go horribly bad.......

every so often I will use confusion shot or crit shot.....

if there is a hoard of low level aggressive critters I kill all of them ot once with full auto.................

Thats about all the specials I use

Critical Shot,Torso Shot, and Leg Shot are my primary damage shots (MBH+MC+CM0400).

Usually throw in an eye shot (for the blind) and confusion shot (for the other states). If its a melee enemy, crippleshot and careful use of supression fire for kiting.

Ah yes, then the occiasional charge shot.

Add 0003 Pistoleer to my template and my lead off is this:

Improved Stopping Shot, then Advanced Critical, Improved Legshot, repeat those two till the Root breaks, then a ChargeShot, repeat main attacks until the Root resets.

Improved Leg Shot has the highest dmg, follow by Adv Critical
Torso shot also has a pretty good dmg

Use a lot of Improved Duelist Stance too for defense bonus.
Underhand for KD

Rarely use Eye Shot or Confusion, the states usually don't stick, and when they do, it's for s short time

Spray Shot has the best AoE dmg, followed by FullAutoArea

I'm almost Pistoleer 0004, so Improved Fan Shot may have a good AoE dmg too

I use a root or snare followed by Critical Shot and Improved Leg Shot.

In my experience Imp Leg Shot and Critical shot do exactly the same damage, unless the crit actually scores the critial hit where its a few hundred dmg points higher. Since my carbine has a low SAC of 85, i just alternate back and forth between these and throw in some state effects for fun

As a master bounty hunter and master carbineer you are given a variety of specials. Which ones do you use the most in PvP/PvE?

Charge Shot, great damage and a 90% chance for KD (or so it seems)

then i alternate between advanced critical shot, or whatever the best one is called, and torso shot for burn damage. Works well for me.

In no particular order:

Charge Shots
Underhand Shots (If I really don't want that Charge animation for a KD)
Adv.Critical Shot
Impr.Leg Shot
Impr.Crippling Shot (IMO, the BEST Snare of the ranged professions that I've tried)
Impr.Stopping Shot (I have Pistoleer 0404 also)
Impr.Full Auto Area (It has its uses. Also excellent for farming like no other profession can)
Torso Shot (Bleed. Any damage is good damage)
Impr.Fan Shot---
>If I want to go into "SAW Gunner Mode," I alternate the 3 cone attacks.
Impr.Spray Shot-

Open with a charge shot. Then start to move. Keep firing Imp legshot and Adv Crit till they get about 20m. Throw an improved cripple on em. If they get to close i uave 0/0/0/3 pistoler and use the Stop Shot. Rinse and repeat.

Vs critters:

Underhand Shot - if a root/snare misses or I need to kite back past the critter

Adv.Critical Shot - alternate for general damage
Impr.Leg Shot - alternate for general damage
Impr.Crippling Shot - as root wears off

Impr.Stopping Shot - opener

Torso Shot - someplace early on to get the most ticks in

Vs. NPCs it depends a lot on weapon used and such - basically all of the above with a few Imp. Disarms, Eyeshots and confusion tossed in

Vs. low level fodder - alternate the 3 Cone AoEs

And I use improved duelist stance + occasionally roll shot/kip up shot vs anything that shoots back (with a 271 ranged defense base it seems to cut down damage a lot)
