Thread: Need some help in selecting a nice E11MK2

My template is MBH/Mcarbs/Pistoleer0303/FS/SEA's so that gives me +123spd and +284acc


Ok, so I understand there's a "soft cap" on speed and from what I hear anything much over 100 starts to rapidly lose the point. The question I've not seen the answer to is how should that relate to the speed of your weapon? I've got an E11MK2 thats base speed is 1.53 unpupped so my modded spd is 0.91. Stupidly fast and tho it gives me a base/modded DPS of 425/710 I understand I'm technically not getting that actual DPS due to the speed soft cap.


Now if I get a weapon with a slow speed but a high damage valuethen I'm going tobe wasting firepower during the cycle time of my weapon.

If I get weapon with a fast speed but sacrifice damage then I'm going tobe wasting firepower during the cooldown time of my specials.


So what I want to know is what kind of modded speed should I be looking for to get the optimum speed to fire specials at so that I can find a weapon that has about that speed but max damage.


Would this be classed a good one? Worth a couple miIl?

..or would this one, depending what the resulting modded spd is, be better with a +Dmg/-Spd pup added?

Damage and speed are nice, but SAC is cruel. Definitely not worth millions, at least not on my server. Get a pack of krayt tissues, tell the weaponsmith to experiment for damage and SAC and keep speed a secondary issue. Should result in a way better weapon.

/agree. Elite guns are getting as low as 73SAC now. If you kept SAC pups on the first one all the time it would be good. But not as it stands w/o

you will not notice the speed difference but you will definately notice the SAC variance.





Facts to Know:
