well i decided to go evert a run around a poulated town..it wasn't long befroe i found some opposing factions. i dispatched the first overt without too much trouble.heled up and i was on my way.off to cantina...what do you know.a overt bh with a pistol."no biggie" i thought.i entered,came around the wall,and started blasting. i ran his health to nothing i a second and had given him a great action bleed.my victory was at hand.soon he would fall.....

or so i thought.......i saw the white heart come down over his body as he backed away firing his scatter pistol. a second later his ham was next to full.this made things a bit tougher for sure but not impossible. stick to the plan...run and gun, stay outta range of that scatter.hit a stim yourself,and carry on.so carry on we do, taking the fight out back now blast,blast,blast,heal,blast,blast, he's so close... i almost have him...... bam! on my back.much to the amusment of a covert member of the opposing faction,who laughed untill i woke up in the cloning facility.rats!

see the bounty pistol line is really designed to do mind damage.thats not so bad untill u need to stim a few times,and you see you mind drop to nothing.however you learn more in defeat than in victory sometimes,and this tought me a lesson.it showed me a weakness in my strategy.i need to find a way to overcome this(maybe i need to learn when to quit!) and that i will. but my question is can i use this on someone else being a carbineer? i saw an attack designed to attack multiple stat pools....mind damage too? and how much? i think you'd need an attack that does about 200 mind damage or so to use the same tactic on someone else. do we as carbineer's have anything thatyou can count on to do mind dam? not random damage attacks but something you could count on?

please let me know as i have maxed the BH carbine tree and now am trying to max carbineer out.there has to be bot a counter to this mind damage thing (other than stat migration,drugs or enhancements from doctors) and there has to be a special attack i can use to do mind damage....please, anyone?

Well BHs have eye shot which directly attacks the mind pool. We however don't have any kind of an attack like that but instead we have scatter shot and crippling shot which both have a chance to hit the mind pool. Crippling shot will do major damage to one pool however its very random so its all in your luck on whether or not you hit the mind pool. Scatter shot on the other end is meant to hit up to three pools at the same time however it will sometimes only hit two pools and on a rare occasion it will it one pool for three times the damage then when it hits three seperate pools but the pool it hits is also random. My recommendation is to get a good helmet to cut back the damage that the scatter pistol does when doing eye shots.
