Hello, I've been playing for about 6-7 months now (with a small brake somewhere in there). I'm currently a Master pistoleer/BH 3040/medic2440.. What I was wanting to know is, I'm thinking of switching to carbs. I've always liked them more then pistols anyways, and besides that the states are just amazing as a carbineer. The only thing holding me back is, would it be a bit harder to hunt targets as a carbineer with out much for def? (then again I'm only hunting padawans). Pistoleers get mega defense and wtih the right DE-10 you can get it to pup to around 640, which is about what I would expect a carbine to pup to, besides the fact that carbines can have med. AR.

If anyone out here with any experince in the mix of BH and carbs can help me out that would be great. I will also be posting this on the BH forum. Thanks in advanced!

Before you even get into Nov Carb, if you're mixing with BH, I reccomend maxing out your BH carbs to get to the speed capquick. With BH carbs, it really takes alot of the reason to master carb out of the equation unless you're going for just a little bit more accuraccy (With 80+ you'll already be at the speed cap), but personally if you're mixing, I don't think mastery is worth the skill points.

As for weapons, I have a damage sliced laser carb that pups to around 520+, that's energy AP 2, and my damage sliced DXR Acid AP 1 pups to 400+.

Once you have Underhand, chargeshot is really a moot point, since you have to be standing to use it. Crippleshot and accuraccy 4is a MUST though, Fullautosingle 2 is spam-a-riffic with random states, but don't rely on it for your dizzy. Suppression 2 works as a posture down to keep melee fighters away while you load them up with bleeds and states, but so does Actionshot 2 (although sometimes the cone effect can get you into trouble).

So really, if you're maxing BH carbs, I reccomend 044X. X being Carb Accuraccy while moving. This give you Fullautoarea2 and Chargeshot2, both good for taking on large groups in PvP with area knockdown and apply area-effect damage and states. However, you might find them worthless if you're worried about solely taking on Jedi. If you're only taking Jedi, keep it at 0440 and keep your points in pistoleer at xx4x for the state defenses.
