Thread: Good Chef Buffs to use?
Sorry if this has been asked but can anyone tell me the best Chef Buffs to use and explain to me if possible how they help/work (Like Do I take them right before I get close to the Red aggro or?)
Basically I am just starting on my road to Master Carbineer and I dont have all the info on how food buffs work and when you take them and stuff like that being as I used to spend all my time mining resources.
Any help you guys could throw a Combat n00b Would Greatly Appreciated ![]()
Sure no prob.
Buy breath of heaven its a drink that adds to your str. quickness, and focus. It last like 6 minutes and you have to wait a few more after that to use it again as it "digests".
Ryth cakes are the food you need they add once again to str, quickness, and focus. For about 6 minutes and you can uses at the same time. Again it has a cool down period as it digests.
Together these add 1k to your str, quickness, and focus. This should bring your carbine ham costs down to nothing. I have a 300 str and quickness base and cripple shot on a laser carbine built for damage with little to no concern for HAM costs hits me for 1 action thats it.

My drink of choice is Tatooine Sunburn. It adds 1000+ to Strength and Stamina, with a -80 to a Mind stat like Focus. (Mine are +1700s/-80) They last 6 minutes, and you can take two of them at the same time. It's a drink, so that lets you take a food buff simultaneously, though I've never done that.
Depending on my armor, I can drink one or two, and spam for six minutes straight without worrying about Action or Health.
I drink my drink right in the middle of combat if it looks like I'm gonna be doing a whole lot of shooting.
It really helps out with that super-fast carbine. I can barely click the specials fast enough before they're shot. With a dose of sunburn and Urbese armor, I might need only 1 or 2 stims in that six minutes. With two doses, armor doesn't matter-- I aint losin no Action spamming at high speed, period.
