I like to do Mantigrue missions on Endor..., usually takes me around 30-45 minutes a mission (22k credit reward), and gets me about 1.5k of wooly hide i sell for about 20cpu. Kinda hard without a pet (look out for the night stalkers, they DB).

As I generally don't like doing missions (too much work having to go back into town and pick up another)...

I tend to fight whatever the system decides to spawn in my vicinity.

However... If the quality of the resource is not high enough, I will ignore the creature and move on.

----

I make my complete living off selling resources on the bazaar... So if the resource provided by the creature won't sell very well, I tend to keep moving until I find something that will.

I haven't done a mission for a month... Apparently they pay quite well, though that is still not enough incentive for myself.

Now that I have reached Master Ranger, I hunt whatever is dropping the most desirable resource. But I am still working on my Pistol xp so it helps if I can hunt the bigger mobs, within reason.

I too have recently discovered baz nitches, and for that matter Dathomir itself. I never went there for fear of not being able to move without getting killed. I have died a few times, but it's been because of doing stupid things like running through rancors and hoping maskscent doesn't break If you are (I would say) master scout or higher, and need scouting xp, this is the place to go. You can just run around and get several thousand of scouting xp per hour. And fyi, harvesting an ancient bull rancor yields 2200 xp.

I like baz nitches too. But a lot of the time I hunt seething bols on Dantooine, good trapping xp and the missions pay a lot and go pretty quick if you have a small group. I think they are one of the only non-aggro creatures on that planet.

I have been hunting Banthas for quite a while up till yesterday that is. I went back to Yavin. I have been taking on the Anglers and Klikniks and chokus. I am maxed out on Rifle and Pistol XP so I only see Combat XP and I am seeing between 150 and 350 per animal. Not a whole lot, but a bit more dangerous than hunting those slow Bantha, that I can take down in a few good Rifle Headshots while Camoed. Unless I come across that Krayt Lair that spawned 50m behind me the other night. Stupid Krayts, and I had just found a good group of Banthas also, by the way he swept the Banthas up after warping to me to incap, then warped back to the lair, and then walked over and DBing me.

Banthas usually, due to being able to sell the hide and use them in the camo kit.

I prefer Huurton Stalkers on Dantooine, tho gronda on Corellia are a new favorite, just for the effects of their death.

Stalkers yield a great amount of wooley hide (60 units, even grouped), usually attack in singles, pay decent (9k missions) and two people and a pet can easily take out a lair. Weapon xp varies, on an acid pistol I think I get about 700+ per. No tricks, just use the pet to tank and trap and shoot.

Grondas are easy and fun. They are singles, pay only 3k per missions, but you can solo them and get 50 units of leather hide and 1100 weapons xp (pistol). The best part of grondas is the earth shaking death they do, theearth moves (was it good for you?) when they finally die. Funny as all get out when hunting with someone who has never killed one before. Trick here, run uphill, they are slow, you get a lead and sling shots at them. Or Pdart em and stay in one spot, more or less.

NB - Notice, Huurton Stalkers, not howlers, matriarchs, etc... a lot of these mobs are social. And not War Grondas, they are social too.

I always go on lemming mode when I see a kimogila. They have warped on top of me after the initial shot the last five times I've tried soloing one.
